We are hiring crew members on a part-time basis to work 15-30 hours per week through the end of April. The work is gutting homes, tarping roofs, mold treatment, and rebuilding. No experience is necessary, we will provide tools and training.
Our workdays are typically 9 am to 4:30 pm and take place in St. John, St. James, and Plaquemines parishes.
Gutting work includes removing water-damaged drywall, insulation, and other household items. This is physical and often dirty work. Be prepared for moldy, smelly conditions and lifting up to 35lbs.
Roofing work includes removing damaged roofing materials and securing temporary tarps. This is physical work and requires you to be high above the ground, often balanced on rafters and uneven surfaces. Be prepared for full sun exposure, using a hammer, and lifting up to 35lbs.
